10x Genomics Offers Additional Support to Northwestern Investigators

In response to the recent wave of grant terminations and funding freezes across the University, 10x Genomics is partnering with NUSeq to provide enhanced support to the Northwestern research community. As part of this effort, 10x Genomics is extending special pricing to NUSeq for spatial transcriptomics and single cell sequencing kits, enabling the core to offer reduced service rates for Northwestern users.

These special rates apply to projects involving Visium HD spatial transcriptomics, single-cell 3'/5' universal gene expression and multiome (RNA-seq and ATAC-seq) assays. The program will run from July 7 through November 30, 2025.

If your current or upcoming projects have been affected by funding challenges, we encourage you to apply through our online submission form. For questions or assistance, please contact Jennifer Wai, NUSeq's 10x Genomics specialist. Once we receive your project information, we will follow up with customized rate details.

The aim of this limited-time program is to help Northwestern researchers maintain progress in the face of financial uncertainty. NUSeq offers free consultation for project planning, and 10x Genomics — our long-standing partner since 2017 — will continue to provide technical guidance and support.

We encourage all interested investigators to plan ahead and take advantage of this opportunity before the November deadline.
